Both headlights not working

Both my low beam headlights stopped working at the same time this evening. Hey!I do some part time work at a boat launch in the spring and summer. Yesterday I noticed BOTH my headlights (dipped) aren't working. There could be a fuse for each low beam light either under the hood or under the dash. Other times it may take several hours before they will work. Seems there was a bad connection at the plug that goes into the headlamp. Just the regular low beams are not functioning when they are set to on. They both stopped working all of a sudden. If not, then prob both low beams are bad. Fuses are intact, main beam is fine, as are front fogs and all other lights. 9 JTD 3 dr.
